State of greens #07

The tropical low which hit New Zealand was mighty kind to us. Walls bending inwards and all there was no major flooding or damage. In fact, the water standing in the garden like it does in the pictures is fairly normal after some rain. I’ve never seen such destruction on plants tho. The way the leafs of the sunflowers and any other tree for that matter were shredded.
As I’m typing this it’s a few weeks later and I think for those trees that kept their leaves it really showed only later on how much damage they took. But plants are simply amazing. Give it two weeks and most of these stand right back up straight.
