State of greens #17

With the garden bed prepared as well as we could, we transplanted some seedlings and did some direct sowing. There’s an ongoing struggle with weeds and gras. I have no idea or experience about what will grow in New Zealand over winter, but we are trying: broccoli, spinach, brussel sprout, kale, cabbage. Runner beans, carrots, celery and red beets. More will be transplanted soon. We gave them all a little greenhouse so they won’t be eaten by slugs. We will think of something else later.
